Larry Weidel is a multimedia artist who’s work has been hailed as “a masterful perspective on the mundane.”
Drawing on his nomadic upbringing, which started in Washington D.C. and included a particularly influential stint in Italy, Larry Weidel’s work speaks to the multiplicity that exists within us all; and how those countless stories are reflected in our environment. 

Each piece is a revolutionary retelling of those stories; accomplished by layering and recycling bits of urban excavation. In Larry’s hands, a medium as humble and oft-overlooked as old paint is transmuted into something altogether new and precious, with its own unique story to tell.  

Weidel’s art directly confronts the question of what we’d learn “if these walls could talk” and challenges each viewer to find the answer - both in the work and in themselves.
